A session paused when I switched apps

That's by design. Sylph runs only while it is on screen. When you leave the app mid-session, it pauses and waits for you. Come back and tap to resume; it re-syncs with a short countdown so your breathing starts fresh on the inhale.

I don't feel anything / I don't hear anything

Haptics are on by default; sound is off by default. Both can be toggled from the session screen or from Settings. If your device has no vibration motor, the haptics toggle won't appear. If your device's motor doesn't support variable strength, Sylph falls back to a rhythm made of pulse timing instead of pulse strength. On iPhone, Sylph's tone plays at the media volume; if you can't hear it, press the volume-up button during a session.

I bought Pro and it shows locked

Open Sylph, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases, while signed into the store account that bought it: the Google account on Android, the Apple Account on iPhone. Pro is a one-time purchase tied to that store account, not to a device.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store you bought Sylph Pro from, under its own policy: Google Play refunds or Apple refunds. If a purchase is refunded, Pro locks again. We never see your payment details, so we cannot issue one ourselves.

Casting: the TV does not appear

Casting is part of Sylph Pro. Your phone and the Chromecast or Google TV need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. Tap the cast button on the home screen, pick your TV, then start a session: the orb breathes on the TV while your phone stays the guide, and both stay in step.

iPhone asks whether Sylph may find devices on your local network

Allow it. That is how Sylph finds your Chromecast, and casting will not work without it. If you said no, turn it back on in iOS Settings under Sylph.

Why does a free session stop at 5 minutes?

Sessions up to 5 minutes are free forever. Sylph Pro unlocks 10-minute sessions and an open-ended "until I stop" length, along with every technique, theme and the custom pattern builder.

How do I get Sylph?

Sylph is on Google Play and the App Store. Install it straight from the Google Play listing, or tap the Google Play badge on our home page. Updates arrive automatically through Google Play. On iPhone, Sylph is on the App Store: install it from the App Store listing, and updates arrive through the App Store.

Where is my data, and what happens if I uninstall?

Sylph has no accounts and nothing to sign in to. Your settings, saved custom patterns and the record that Pro is unlocked live on your device, and uninstalling removes them, so note down a custom pattern you want to keep before you reinstall. Your Pro purchase stays with your store account and comes back with Restore purchases. The privacy page has the detail.
